Pequeno rascunho no interior da igreja S. Apollinare in Veclo, em Ravenna, Italia
Esse rascunho que cabe na palma da mão tem uma história.
Estou nesse momento em Ravenna, uma belíssima cidade medieval ao norte da Itália, a convite da Associazione Culturale Mirada, para participar como único convidado estrangeiro do festival de quadrinhos de realidade Komikazen. Hoje pela manhã bem cedo, resolvi sair do hotel para um rápido tour pelos arredores. Vi uma pequena igreja aberta e entrei, só de curiosidade. Tratava-se da Chiesa S. Apollinare in Veclo erguida entre 1682 e 1762. Assim que entrei, me deparei com o padre rezando uma missa para exatas 3 pessoas, fora as freiras enclausuradas , que assistiam a missa por detrás de grades. Resolvi sentar e observar. Quis fotografar a cena, mas não me sentí muito a vontade, e em respeito aquela cerimônia religiosa, registrei o momento desenhando. Entre uma fala do padre e outra, havia um silêncio tão grande que eu conseguia ouvir o ruído da caneta riscando o papel. No final da missa, cortinas automáticas desciam pelas grades, isolando visualmente as freiras. Segundo o padre, são irmãs clarissas.
